Vacuum cleaners have evolved over time to satisfy specific cleaning roles within your household. While uprights are the most popular models as they typically have the most features and cleaning power, there are other types to look at. Vacuum cleaners working on the cyclone principle became popular in the 1990s, although some companies (notably Filter Queen and Regina) have been making vacuum cleaners with cyclonic action since 1928. In 1959 Amway patented the first ‘bagless’ cyclonic vacuum, called the CMS 1000.
Dyson vacuum cleaners are perfectly manufactured to fight problem that any other cleaners suffer, a gradual loss of suction, sound familiar huh ? Dyson sells people on their ‘new technology’ that supposedly cleans better. The less sexy Eureka Boss on the other hand uses older technology and requires a bag. Dyson’s vacuum cleaners have a superpower: They make you want to vacuum. The unparalleled suction, the storm of debris sweeping like a funnel cloud in that transparent chamber—it’s all more exciting than any vacuum should be.
